Paper Airplanes and Paper Boats:

Chelsea and Kate got matching Sister Tattoos this past weekend.

They are so cute, their mom wants to come get the same ones!

Stay tuned.

Moving Out of New York City:

2018 means a lot of changes for myself and my little family. We’ll be starting our next chapter on the West Coast!

If you have a tattoo that is not finished and you’d like to rectify that before I leave, please contact me asap. While I am giving priority to unfinished pieces, the sooner we schedule, the better. I only have Fridays available – which I know won’t work for everyone. I can put you on the contact list in case of cancellations for Saturdays and Sundays. I fully intend to be back to this side of the country a couple times a year, but haven’t any plans yet. is the best way to get in touch. I don’t see DMs or FB messages very often. If you don’t have a tattoo to work on, but would like to say goodbye, I’m in the shop almost every weekend through the end of the year.

Thank you for your love and support over the years and THANK YOU for letting me draw on you so often. Without getting too emotional, I am consistently thankful for the art, relationships, and thought provoking conversations born out of this career.

My Calendar is Closed:

Firstly, THANK YOU for your continued interest in my work.  It means the world to me.

I have decided to close my calendar and (for the first time) I do not have an active waiting list.  There are simply too many large pieces in progress and I do not know exactly when they will be finished.  I will re-open my calendar as soon as I have finished this group of projects and we can start scheduling consultations for all the fun things you have in mind.  If you have already contacted me regarding the waiting list, I will obviously honor that and get in touch before opening scheduling.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Take care and enjoy the Summer!

New Horizons for One and All:

Summer Ash came in for another fun and nerdy tattoo session!  This time, we tattooed her forearm with a fantastic solar system and satellite path map (I’ll let her explain here, since she is the expert) that holds a lot of meaning, both scientifically and personally.

Definitely check out her work.  Not only has she been on several media outlets as an educator, but she keeps us all up-to-date on galactic fashion.  Which is great for me, because I have this busy 15 month old (who may or may not be on my lap right now attempting to add his two cents) that keeps me from lazily window shopping.  Haha.

Thank you, Summer!  Always a pleasure!!

In-Progress Shots:

This past weekend, I got to work on two of my favorite things: Flowers and Space.

Alison’s sleeve of jewels, asters, roses, and violets is coming together beautifully.  Jason’s space sleeve is a huge rework/cover-up project that has been really fun to work on, too.  His existing forearm piece below will, eventually, be a spiral galaxy.

Thank you both so much for letting me tattoo you!
